Disbatch Brewing Company will be the up-and-coming brewery to look out for in 2021. Located in Macedon, NY, It will be the first in the area to brew in-house! The name “Disbatch” is derived from Emergency Dispatching. The founders are first responders themselves, and wanted to create a space that honors the sacrifices all first responders make for the community, as well as a place for all walks of life to relax, share a story, and a pint (or 2).

The wordmark is flexible and comprised of many different symbolic features. The color palette pays tribute to the main branches of first responders: dispatch, fire, police, medical, and military. Arrow imagery is used to show direction, movement, and deployment of aid to those in need. This can also symbolize the roof of a home, illustrating the desire for Disbatch to be a home for the community. Lastly, the hop plant is shown with a headset typically worn by dispatchers, and can be used as a stand alone icon.

This is a living project, and more will be added to the design system as it develops. Look out for more coming soon!
